Hello fellow CANners!

It’s Tuesday, and it’s time for the second installment of
(drum roll, oh
wait, it's in the subject line.)
”Tin C.A.N. Tuesdays, messages from the
string.”

That title is by no means permanent, ok ok, it’s down right silly, but I’m
sure in the weeks ahead something will come up that sounds better. I can
only hope...

Well, tomorrow night is our first CAN meeting with special guest Pat
Johnston from the BLM to talk with us about wetlands. I hope everyone can
make it.

I found out when that skateboard competition & concert at the Churchill
Sports Park-Skate Park is being held. It’s August 25th, and you can call
682-6321 for more information. I wonder if we can sponsor a skater or form a
CAN skate team? We would pay for their entrance fee, and buy them a T-Shirt
with CAN on it. Just a thought
just a thought

WOW!!!

Finally, following this weekend is Memorial Day. This is a chance to honor
the memory of the men and women who died in military service for their
country, and to deeply reflect on the military services that many of our
women and men are currently engaged in.

I don’t prefer to end on a somber note, but that’s how it goes.

I hope to see everyone at our meeting tomorrow night.

See ya’ll around.

~Craig
